Volunteering

Many times people want to help, but don't know where to start. The first place is with your local school. The teachers are always grateful to receive your assistance. If your schedule doesn't work with the school, try the PTA. The PTAs work to fill in the gaps that the are not the highest priority for the District. Most PTAs have a contact link on the respective school website that is available at http://www.d49.org If that isn't your fancy there are plenty of committees within the District that would be glad to have your assistance (http://www.d49.org/committees/)
